Pugs is a 4 year Puggle (pug/beagle mix). Having spent most of his life outside, he was turned over to a local Animal Control facility when the owners husband would not allow him in the house for the winter. His new life began in Nov, xxxx when REACH Rescue saved him. PUGS SAYS: I had no idea living in a home requires certain skills and behavioral expectations. I was very overwhelmed at first, and wow have I been busy learning new things. Like when my foster parents call my name, I have to come quickly. Sometime its to go outside, or sometimes its just cause they want to show me some love. I LOVE THE KISSES! Plus it makes me feel really great when they call me a good boy. I've discovered my deep barking voice is understood by my foster parents and two foster brothers. I can tell mom and dad when Im hungry or I want to go outside. If my foster brothers take my toys and wont give them back, or if they are in my crate chewing on my toys I can give them a quick little bark and they mind. I am very good communicator. Playing with my foster brother Sam, the miniature poodle, is great fun. I love to chase and play with him. He can run forever. After awhile I just have to stop, sit and catch my breath. My other foster brother is a mini Doxie named Maverick. Hes very old, so we dont play, but somehow I just know to be gentle with him. We lie in the sun and take naps together every morning. I dont try to eat everyones food anymore, but being patient is hard. My foster Mom says my sit/stay is getting better, whatever that means. I do have things that need improvement, and I catch on quick even at 4, so I am working on perfect. One thing I've really discovered about myself is that I would prefer to be in an adults only home, as I love grown-ups and dogs, I don't really do well with kids. D562-xxxx-13
